For those who may not know me, I serve as the Director of Business Development at Boat History Report, where I work with a wide range of partners – from state titling agencies and the U.S. Coast Guard to lenders, insurers, and marine businesses – to improve accuracy and transparency in vessel documentation. I’ve seen firsthand how strong partnerships and sound regulatory frameworks benefit not only lenders, but also consumers and the marine industry as a whole.

It has been an honor to represent Associate Organizations on the NMLA Board. In that role, and through active involvement in the Marine Lenders Advisory Council and NMLA events, my focus has always been on keeping members informed and supported – especially as lien processes, titling laws, and documentation standards continue to evolve.

Outside of NMLA, I’ve remained deeply engaged with broader industry initiatives. I currently serve as Vice Chair of NASBLA’s Vessel Identification, Registration, and Titling (VIRT) Committee, the 2nd Vice President of the International Association of Marine Investigators (IAMI), and am a member of both the National Boating Safety Advisory Committee (NBSAC) and the Sea Tow Foundation’s Boating Safety Advisory Council. Much of my work in these roles centers on unifying state and federal efforts to reduce fraud, improve data integrity, and promote more consistent title practices – especially through support of the Uniform Certificate of Title for Vessels Act (UCOTVA).

I’m proud to have been recognized by Boating Industry as one of the Top 40 Under 40, Women Making Waves, and Bold Moves, and to have received the NASBLA Award for my contributions to HIN standardization and boating safety. But what I value most are the strong working relationships formed across agencies, companies, and associations to move this industry forward.

As I seek re-election, my commitment is simple: to continue advocating for our members, to bridge gaps between regulatory and lending communities, and to help ensure NMLA remains a trusted voice for integrity, education, and collaboration in marine finance.

And when I’m not immersed in titles and HIN formats, I’m just “mom” to two energetic boys and a 100-pound golden retriever – usually somewhere near the water.

Thank you for your continued support. I’m excited for what we can accomplish together in the years ahead.
